(Most prominently in the form of a September 2023 workshop involving national MoEco.  representatives as well as staff from all provincial DoEco. directorates), has made it possible to (i) work together with line ministries to resolve practical problems impeding NGO work and (ii) improve line ministries’ understanding of the work of NGOs in Afghanistan
  • Significant stabilization of ACBAR’s funding situation
  • Bringing on board, ACBAR’s Heads of Programs
  • Creation of numerous effective and results-oriented small working groups by the ACBAR Steering Committee.
  • Review by the ACBAR Steering Committee of the ACBAR Statute of Operations
  • Continuing support by ACBAR to and through five ACBAR Regional Offices, with plans to set up in 2024 (as part of operationalization of the new ACBAR Strategy approved in May 2023) new ACBAR Regional Offices in Bamyan and Paktia Provinces.
  • ACBAR’s continuous participation as Observer in the UN’s Humanitarian Country Team (HCT)
  • ACBAR’s maintenance of existing strong donor connections and cultivation of new donor relationships
  • ACBAR’s diligent pursuit of its member mapping initiative
